Esure insurance founder Peter Wood just dropped $39 million for late billionaire John Kluge's former mansion in Palm Beach, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The beachfront home was listed for $59 million since 2011 and sits on 4.3 acres with 150 feet of oceanfront. The Mediterranean compound has 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and a 150-foot reflecting pool.
Kluge was at one time the richest person in the United States and the mansion transferred to his alma mater, Columbia University, upon his death in 2010.
Proceeds of the sale of "La Casa Sin Nombre" (the house without a name) will go towards financial aid for students at Columbia.
