Bal Harbour Shops is, literally, the most productive mall in the world, making $2,555 in sales per square foot. The super-mega-rediculousely-lux mall beat out the next most lucrative shopping mall, the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace, by a very wide margin of about $755 per square foot. That's according to the September 2012 issue of Shopping Centers Today, which ranks these things. It beat out malls in the glamourlands of the world, like New York, London, Dubai, and apparently Orlando. Oh, and another South Florida mall made the list too. Tying for 15th place at $1100 a square foot with malls in Glendale and London is Aventura Mall, in Aventura, about a two minute drive up Collins Avenue and over the William Lehman Causeway from Bal Harbour.
