The gas station at the site of One Thousand Museum, the tower-o-starchitecture designed by Zaha Hadid that's soon too rise on conquer Biscayne Boulevard, has closed and is now being demolished. Apparently the existing underground gas tanks will require minimal remediation because they were just replaced a couple years ago. So, they were brand new, which makes it all seem like kind of a waste of perfectly good gas tanks. Reduce, reuse, recycle people. [exMiami; Previous One Thousand Museum coverage]
