The Town of Palm Beach is facing nine lawsuits at the moment which, although it's probably not an entirely large number for a city, must seem large for a town of its size. Of course it does contain the winter houses of many of the richest people in the world. Current lawsuits in the Palm Beach docket include a fight over what is, and what is not, considered mulch, a showdown with the Army Corps of Engineers over what happened to their beach sand, and a fight with a former Fire-Rescue battalion chief over the man's involvement with a pro-pension-preservation website, and his honesty about said involvement.
