Somebody hit the floorplan motherload for One Ocean, the Enrique Norten-designed plush urban infill palazzo going up between Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue at the very bottom of South Beach, and Jorge Perez's new home. The plans reveal every unit comes with an ocean view, except for four townhouse-y type units on the ground floor of the north building. They, however, have private entrances directly on Ocean Drive. The south tower has no more than four units per floor, and the north tower only two, with each tower unit having at least two exposures. Almost half, 24 to be exact, come decked out with views in three directions, and wrap around balconies to boot. Another surprise: each unit is BIG, with the vast majority having at least three bedrooms, and each bedroom being surprisingly large for a new condo building.
To buy into this splendor, you'll need some serious money.. Every unit is substantially north of the one million dollar mark, except one, an 889 square foot one bedroom on the ground floor of the north tower going for a still sizable $750,000.
