Construction of Miami's grand new waterfront art museum designed by Herzog & de Meuron - the, ahem, Perez Art Museum Miami - is moving right along, and museum director Thom Collins is taking everyone on a tour, in the fourth installation of his video blog showing off the construction. So, what's done? Well, all three floors are up, and all of the poured concrete is poured, but the giant louvered canopy roof and the columns that will support it aren't there at all yet. Oh, something called "backshoring" has been removed, and the slab of concrete that will eventually become the director's office has an absolutely fabulous view.
