The Hoxton and Jelsomino Open; Florida Cookery Set for Nov. 1

FALL TRACKING— Chef Kris Wessel has temporarily closed Red Light Little River in preparation for opening Florida Cookery at The James Royal Palm in South Beach November 1. The new hotel will also have a Catch opening by Top Chef season three winner Hung Huynh and a Miami outpost of SL Nightclub opening later this year.

BRICKELL— Last night the new self-proclaimed "urban beach house" The Hoxton opened in The Axis. The first of three new venues to open from the Vassili Group's Santiago Rodriguez, The Hoxton is a casual spot for a bite or drink. Joining it soon will be restaurant Boxpark and lounge Harvey Wolf.

MIAMI BEACH— Starting tonight, you can start showing of your best Michael Jackson moves at the new crazy karaoke spot Jelsomino. The Russians sure know how to do it up- this place has a center stage with a wireless mic, strobe lights, fog machine, private rooms, and backup singers and dancers. Perfect for Miami, they'll even be serving sushi and provide bottle service.
