Enrique Norten and his firm TEN Arquitectos are rampaging through Miami, snapping up commissions for expensive-as-hell housing left and right (and possibly losing one). 321 Ocean, another boutique South-Of-Fifth oceanfront pile of mansion-sized condos stacked on top of each other, which was approved by the city back in July, is now in marketing mode, with "22 grand three- and four- bedroom homes" on the hock, spread over two buildings. Square footage starts at 1,900 + terrace, and prices at $1.5 million.
Each unit has a triple exposure, with private elevators, at least two balconies, either three or four bedrooms (not counting the dens), totally tricked-out appliances (built-in espresso machine anyone?), oversized showers, soaking tubs, etc. etc. The building itself gets an infinity pool, a fancy-shmancy gym, a library stocked with art books, and a courtyard garden by designed by Enzo Enea/Enea Garden Design.
