OPENINGS— The first of the two restaurants at newly opened The James Royal Palm on South Beach is now soft open: Florida Cookery. The now sole focus for chef/owner Kris Wessel after his Red Light Little River shuttered, Florida Cookery looks promising as it pays homage to Wessel's roots and has a 50s feel to the design.

POP-UPS— Come Art Basel, there will be lots of delicious eats to enjoy from The Pious Pig Restaurant Group as they'll be featuring all their brands (The Federal, ACME) and re-popping up their popular Vietnamese Phuc Yea! at SCOPE Art Miami. In addition, they're going to do a new pop-up bar sibling for Phuc Yea! called Phuc Mei! with lots of drinks.
COMING ATTRACTIONS— New York's famous Chinatown cocktail apothecary bar, Apotheke, is going to be opening in Wynwood next year in January. Expect perfectly prepared prescription cocktails by some expert chemists.
