And now for some shameless gloating: Famous architect Bjarke Ingels reads Curbed Miami! Yay! Hi Bjarke! Bjarke, you called our take on the Miami Beach Convention Center competition Oedipal. Yeah, you're totally right, but you know, it's all in good fun. Of course, despite only being about six months old, Curbed Miami does wield great power, and with great power comes great parties!
Why, just earlier today we got a call from some PR lady about a party one of the Real Housewives of Miami is having for that magazine she started. Hey, maybe that other housewife, the one that's selling that hideous monstrosity of a house and building an even gaudier place at the expense of a beautiful historic estate which she's demolishing. But, we'll try not to hold too much of a grudge. Gotta play nice for the cameras.
Anyways, Bjarke, you're building so much stuff down here, you might want to think about buying a little condo for yourself. We'll be happy to help you pick it out. Zaha has one (two actually) and we think Herzog & de Meuron do too, but we're not sure. Sarcasm aside, Bjarke, you're awesome.
