Yes, Miami Is More Expensive Than Just About Anywhere

New, 3 comments

In really depressing statistical news, according to The Atlantic Cities Miamians spend a larger share of our income than any other U.S. metro area on housing and transportation. A middle class Miamian will spend a whopping 72 percent just on living somewhere and getting around town. That's 40 percent on housing, and 32 percent on his car, buses, taxis, whatever. No wonder we have so many 20-somethings living at home with their parents. They can't afford to move out.
