Carlos Ott Designs Two More Lux South Florida Projects

New, 3 comments

Echo

Developers PMG hired Carlos Ott, the starchitect who's doing a couple o' luxury projects for the Related Group, to do a couple o' more for them. (fyi, he's the guy that did the Bastille Opera in Paris, officially making him a starchitect to all us little people) Ditto with the interior designers, Yabu Pushelberg, who are doing BrickellHouse and One Ocean. The first, called ECHO (all caps, how modern!), is on the "last new construction waterfront piece in the Aventura area" according to a press release so nicely deposited in the Curbed inbox. The second, called Sage Beach, is on 2101 South Surf Road in Hollywood Beach, just a wee bit of a hike south of the Broadwalk. They're both sleek, modern, glassy, luxurious, and waterfront. Sage Beach, with only 24 units - all blinged out - boasts rooftop terraces, private elevators, really nice appliances (we're talkin' Subzero, Meile, and Wolfe here), valet, a beachfront infinity pool, and 300 feet of beach access. Basically, it'll be the fanciest development on the blue collar riviera that is Hollywood Beach by a long shot.
