The New York Times just ran a big splashy review of that design team Roman and Williams who are responsible for the newly opened Freehand hostel and the much anticipated (we're talking pins and needles here) restoration of the historic Saxony Hotel on the beach. Unfortunately it doesn't reveal any juicy details about the secret Saxony, and the Freehand's already open, so that cat's out of the bag, but the husband and wife team is a totally fascinating design duo. And that's just great for its own sake. [NY Times]
