You can now drive Car2go , the first and biggest of Miami's two competing car sharing services (the other is Zipcar) to Miami Beach. The company has secured the 6th floor of the Lincoln Garage (the one where Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes is) at 1691 Michigan Avenue, for its members permanent use. This level is now considered part of the "home area", where members can pick up and leave their cars. While not exactly world domination, this addition is a big deal in Car2go's aggressive expansion plans for Greater Miami. In other news, they'll have special parking lots reserved during Art Basel week in Wynwood (and South Beach??) so their members can get around with the greatest of ease. How nice. [Car2go]
