Upscale Hostel 'The Freehand' Opens In Time For Basel

Ladies and gentlemen, America's first upscale hostel has arrived. Opening up just in time for Art Basel, Freehand Miami is a creative reinvention of the classic art deco Indian Creek Hotel space by the owners of the super swank NoMad Hotel in NYC. Because it's a hostel, the space features 62 rooms (designed by Roman and Williams) but 252 beds. You can get private space if you want, but why bother really? Some other fun amenities include bocce ball, a vegetable garden, bike rentals, free wifi and food and beverages by Bar Lab and Chef Jeremiah Bullfrog. Fancy. Wonder what kind of clientele this place will attract.
