DESIGN DISTRICT - Confirming rumors, Michelle Bernstein's Spanish eatery in the Design District, Sra. Martinez, will close with a final dinner service on July 6. Bernstein is walking away from the former post office space to spend time with her family and focus on some upcoming projects.
SOUTH BEACH - The newest addition to the Pubbelly family, Macchialina Taverna Rustica, located at 820 Alton Road, finally made it's long anticipated debut this past Tuesday. The Italian eatery features the work of former Scarpetta chef Michael Pirolo, who has formed a rustic Italian menu fit for sharing.

BRICKELL - Construction rolls on for TIKL Raw Bar & Grill, the small plates concept from the team behind Brickell's Altamare, with plans to open at 1450 Brickell Avenue in late July. Eater got a first look at some dishes on executive chef Simon Stojanovic eclectic menu.
MIAMI SPICE - The lineup for this year's Miami Spice participants has been released by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitor's Bureau, as well as the breakdown of the two price categories: Lunch $23/Dinner $39 and Lunch $19/Dinner $33. Miami Spice will run from August 1 to September 30.
