The Seville, that midcentury modern hotel getting a major overhaul of Schrager-induced glamour as it becomes a Marriott Edition, has had some major demo work done in these early days of construction. The cabanas are still there (they'll be gone soon), and the Trylon is still very visible from the boardwalk. The place, from most angles we checked out, is now very see-through, with the un-original interiors stripped totally bare. Hopefully all the holes will be plugged with the hotelier's signature fabulousness, and not something awkward, like his Hudson Hotel.
