An old rumor has been revived. Walmart, which had been fighting local opposition groups to build a Midtown Miami location, may or may not be looking at the imperiled Biscayne Plaza, a landmark of MiMo architecture, to build instead, the same place where people used to speculate that Walmart would try to build a store. The rumor may be back because of a total lack of developments in the Midtown controversy over the last few months, prompting curious onlookers to wonder just what Walmart is up to now.
