Downtown Miami's Hidden Shopping Arcades

Photos by Curbed.

Branching off Flagler Street, Miami's original shopping district, is an unexpectedly extensive network of indoor shopping arcades and passages. The swankiest, and most well known, is the Seybold Building's jewelry arcade, but most are long-suffering and low rent relics of a long gone heyday. As the Design District reinvents itself as Miami's first new urban shopping district, the Flagler Street arcades appear ripe for reinvention.
