A Guide to Summer's Best Poolside Affairs; Heatmap Update

SUMMER GUIDES - There is no better way to spend a Floridian summer day than poolside in Miami with some good eats and a fruity drink. From South Beach luxury poolside experience at the rooftop at the Perry Hotel to the diamond in the rough "pool"side Lou's Beer Garden, and the future elegance and intriguing Hyde Beach at the SLS, there are a lot of options for you sunbathing/site-seeing getaway.

SOUTH BEACH - After 19 years serving South Beach, David's Cafe II, the popular 24 hour casual Cuban eatery, is being forced out of the restaurant due to a rent increase. Owner Adrian Gonzalez is exploring other options: a more affordable space, maybe a smaller space, or just "regroup down to the original David's".

DESIGN DISTRICT - Harry's Pizzeria, Michael Schwartz casual pizza joint, has added two new pop-ups to their lineup. Andrew Carmellini of The Dutch will be stopping in on October 22 and Mindy Segal, this year's James Beard winner for Outstanding Pastry Chef, is scheduled for November 5.
