Zoo Miami will solicit proposals in September for something big - maybe a theme park, campground, mall, hotel, or all of the above - to be built on 279 zoo-adjacent acres. Whatever gets built will probably be damn cool because, apparently, they've already received strong interest from (unnamed) major players in the theme park biz. [Miami Today]
