The Miami-Dade Commission just passed a law requiring new shopping centers to build barricades between shoppers and cars, thereby preventing cars from smashing through storefronts. Apparently the commission thinks cars drive into grocery stores often enough to be considered a risk to human life. Ironically, a few hours after the meeting, a car drove into the living room of a house. [CBS]
