It's Day 3, Round 1 of Miami's Hottest Brokers, and things are getting interesting. Here are two more female nominees - both are blushing beauties - for your selection. This should be a hard choice today, so chose wisely. Oh, and we could us a few more last minute nominations to round out the week (we particularly need men), so if you know any hotties, let us know. Cheers!

Q What's your best advice for buyers and renters?
A For buyers, Miami is booming right now. It's a great time to buy thanks to the wealthy international buyers who enabled our market to recover faster. Rents are getting high, if you can, try save for a down payment now while prices are still somewhat depressed.
Q What is the strangest / funniest thing that's ever happened to you as a broker?
A One of our listings had a beehive hidden behind the walls that we did not know about. Every time I went for a showing, I would see dead bees everywhere- tons of them! It started to creep me out because all the windows were closed. I almost thought the house was haunted. When we had an inspection done, we finally found out that there was a bee hive the whole time and there was an estimate of 150,000 bees ! It really freaked me out.
Q What did you do before you became a broker? What happened with that?
A I was an events producer. I was a partner in a company called No Sugar Added. We produced a worldwide serious of club shows, beach festivals, and pool parties with worlds leading electronic dance music artists like David Guetta, Kaskade, Martin Solveig, Calvin Harris just to name a few. NSA events have showcased over 200 artists. Some of the venues we worked with include LIV, Wall Miami, Nikki Beach and Mansion. I must say it was a great experience; I have met a lot of people from all over the world also in the entertainment business. I gained a huge database and It has benefitted me in the long run creating positive client relationships for potential buyers/sellers internationally & locally in the real estate business.

Q What's your best advice for buyers and renters?
A Do your homework!! The wealth of information out there is amazing. Use all the tools available, especially to find a professional to help you! In this age of information, your agent will love an educated consumer that knows what they want. (at least I do)
Q What is the strangest/ funniest thing that's ever happened to you as a broker?
A We were working with a foreign national on a "CASH" purchase and had an appointment in our office to sign the purchase contract. The gentleman showed up with a backpack full of cash for the first deposit. Our jaw dropped to the floor and Mr. Cash was asked to go get a cashier's check instead.
Q What did you do before you became a broker? What happened with that?
A I was a full-time architect working with a major firm in Miami. I decided to go into real estate because of the flexibility in schedule and the fact that my knowledge could be helpful to our clients. I now offer architectural consulting services to our clients at no extra charge, and specialize in architecturally relevant real estate and historic properties. Perfect match if you ask me and our clients.
