Revenge of the megaprojects

Here's another big idea. A guy named Michael Gerrity wants to relocate all of the PortMiami freight and container operations to Port Everglades, and fill most of Dodge Island with hotels, casinos, parks, and a large convention center. Kevin Gale, Editor of South Florida Business Journal, calls it the absolutely wildest idea he's ever heard of in Miami (which says a lot) and, despite Gerrity's idea not having much of a chance of actually happening, gives it an entire column.
