Miami's DecoBike Could Be Up And Running In Eight Months

New, 2 comments

If the Miami City Commission approves a contract with DecoBike at their January 24th meeting, the bicycle sharing company will begin installing 50 bike kiosks along with 500 bikes spread out from the Design District, through Downtown, and to Coconut Grove, and should have the system operational within 8 months according to the Miami Herald. The company, which won a bid to negotiate the contract with the city, is aiming to have Miami's DecoBike network fully compatible with the network on the beach, thereby massively expanding the transportation potential of DecoBike across Miami and Miami Beach.

And in other DecoBike news, they're adding new bicycle kiosks - which now are spread all the way up Miami Beach and into Surfside - in Bay Harbour Islands.
