Goldman Properties Is Developing Wynwood As Tony Intended

New, 7 comments

Goldman Properties is continuing with the late Tony Goldman's plans in Wynwood after his death, converting warehouses and industrial buildings around the neighborhood into mixed-use projects and artists spaces, according to the Daily Business Review. Their focus is NW 26th Street, which Tony had intended as a conduit between NW 2nd Avenue, the current heart of the neighborhood, and NW 5th, a wide-medianed boulevard. This month the company will start on its first residential units in the district, renovating and converting a warehouse into the mixed use Wynwood House at 331 NW 26th St. They'll also start renovating another warehouse at 310 NW 26th St. which they call Green Space into retail and office spaces.
