Curbed Reader, and frequent Flickr Pool contributor, Phillip Pessar, sent over this photo with a note to say that the outer buildings of the former Miami Herald Building at 1 Herald Plaza in downtown Miami are being demolished today. The low rise parking garage between the Herald Building and the Arsht has been reduced to smithereens (no big loss there) and part of the Herald Building itself is now behind a green fence. Yes, one of those construction site green fences, like at the Claremont!
