A big construction crane, the universally understood symbol for "some serious shit's gonna get built here" has appeared in the massively under construction Miami Design District—future land of untold luxuries—along with another fairly widely understood symbol for the same thing, a closed street. 39th Street has been closed to traffic, perhaps to accommodate the crane. To the left, the Buena Vista building is a shell of its old self while it gets a sleek modern upgrade. You can still see the outlines of the buildings little roof things from the 70s or 80s. To the right the Melin building remains untouched.
