Debt Doldrums

The foreclosure lawsuit against BrickellHouse Holdings and managing members Jesus Quintero and Harvey Hernandez has been dropped. Hernandez, who is also developing the Yves Beshar-designed Centro, said he paid off the old loan with a new one. The suit revolved around a $15.3 million sales financing loan Hernandez wanted to subordinate to a construction loan he was inexplicably seeking--inexplicably because the developers say that 40 stories of the 46-floor BrickellHouse have already gone up.
