Archeological Wonders

Digging continues at the archeological site known as the future Met Square skyscraper, and although the site's fate as a tower seems to be sealed wonders upon wonders keep being unearthed. So far the site contains the largest Tequesta Indian site ever found, remnants of Tequesta houses and walkways, foundations and steps from the Royal Palm Hotel, parts of Fort Dallas, the original Miami River shoreline, and the original Tequesta burial mound that the Royal Palm was built on.
