Following up on our post about the restoration of South Beach's historic Plymouth Hotel yesterday, guess what, we've landed new renderings of the hotel and its neighbor the Ansonia by architect Kobi Karp. The art deco lobby looks serenely minimalist, with recessed lighting and a large central light (chandelier?) showing off the oval ceiling. An art deco mural graces one wall. Outside, the hotel's name is moved to freestanding retro signage on the corner, and a new recessed fourth floor can be seen peaking above the roofline.
