Cameron Diaz Buys In Chelsea; Go Inside A Saucy Black Loft

The latest New York City real estate goings-on from our sister site Curbed NY...

1) Chelsea: Start-up maven and party girl Cindy Gallop let us inside her sexy, scandalous all-black apartment of rap video and TV fame—which is on the market for $6 million.

2) Downtown Brooklyn/Prospect Heights: The megastadium Barclays Center won't be so lonely anymore now that the robotically named B2 is rising by its side. The largest residential tower in the world to be built by modular construction, yesterday cranes hoisted the first prefabricated "mods" into place to form the base of B2. Sexy stacking, right this way.

3) The Bronx: After a permanent home in Queens became an impossibility, the New York City Football Club, a Major League Soccer franchise co-owned by the Yankees and Manchester City owner and Abu Dhabi royalty Sheik Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan, is reportedly close to announcing plans to build a new arena in an industrial area not far from Yankee Stadium.

4) Chelsea: This week in celebrity real estate, Cameron Diaz dropped $9 million on a three-bedroom, 3,000-square-foot abode in Chelsea's lauded Art Deco conversion Walker Tower. Oh, and Jake Gyllenhaal eyed a $3.5M Soho penthouse.
