Gorgeous 'Supergraphic' Graces Wall of Versailles Hotel

Perhaps taking a page from Wynwood artists' pioneering works on the sides of old shoe factories, Argentine developer Alan Faena has turned an eyesore into eye candy by commissioning fellow Porteño artist Juan Gatti to dress up the side of the long-dormant Versailles Hotel, next to Faena's Miami Beach mega-development, with an enormous graphic. Let's just hope the banner that spells "magic" portends what's to come out of Faena's secretive and star-studded collaboratory.

Faena and billionaire backer Len Blavatnik bought the Art Deco Versailles for $100 million in August, and Gatti's artwork was approved by the Miami Beach Historic Preservation Board last month.
