A new high-rise residential tower is being planned for the Media and Entertainment District, and will be called 17 Edgewater. Amenities will include a gym, pool deck, gardens, movie theaters, and club rooms; as well as five levels of parking. The 40 story luxury building will offer 240 rental units; and is the project of Miami developer 17 St. Partners, with Mark Kreisler, David Kreps, and Jean Noel Grinda behind the venture. The tower will be built in the Omni area, on an acre of land on Northeast 17th Street, between Northeast Miami Place and Northeast Miami Court. [exMiami]
