mybrickell, the first tower break ground in Brickell since the crash, was the first to top off last Friday when a few local dignitaries wandered over to take pictures of themselves while a crane ceremoniously hoisted a palm tree to the roof. The twenty seven story building, which is totally sold out already (hey, you snooze, you lose) was designed by Karim Rashid and Arquitectonica's Bernardo Fort-Brescia. After the ground level photo op everyone, in high heels and hard hats, piled in the construction elevator for a trip straight to the top, where dignitaries took more pictures of themselves and Curbed got to see the view.
