The Related Companies has confirmed by email to Curbed Miami their interest in the Island Gardens project, although they say "We are undertaking a very comprehensive due diligence process and have numerous parameters that need to be met in order for the partnership to move forward" which basically means they're interested, but they're still thinking about it. Oh, and if they do it they'll be developing it in partnership with Miami's Related Group, and possible other investment partners. Here's to hoping!
