1) Miami Beach: Juvia, the 10,000 square foot penthouse eatery that was recently awarded Design of the Year by Esquire Magazine, just turned one. Eater sat down with owner Jonas Millan, chef Sunny Oh and chef Laurent Cantineaux to talk about Juvia and their one year anniversary.
2) Brickell: Temaris, a new Japanese/Latin spot is soon to grace the up and coming Mary Brickell Village. Situated right next to OTC, the restaurant has plans to open sometime in the next few weeks.
3) MiMo: Owner and founder of the 50 Eggs restaurant group, John Kunkel has purchased the historic Sunshine Motel, using proceeds from the sale of his Lime Fresh Mexican Grill restaurant chain. The top two floors of the building will be used as office space, while the bottom floor will be the Test Kitchen.
