Over the weekend the first of 15 artist-designed Wynwood Ways crosswalks was painted in Wynwood on the corner of 25th Street and NW 2nd Avenue, a criss-crossing traffic diamond of green, red, and blue blocks, all outlined in classic crosswalk white. And although the geometric stripes of red, blue, green, and white have only been in for a few days, they're already starting to take on a patina of 'urban grit', which in its own way is kinda awesome. But hey, when they're being driven over, what can one expect anyways?
