Brooklyn Townhouse Market Still Hot; A Housewife House Hunts

The hottest gossip from big mamma up north, Curbed NY...

1) Boerum Hill: The townhouse market in brownstone Brooklyn is so hot that even the brokers are listing their homes now. A Senior VP at Corcoran has listed her 3,300-square-foot, four-story, brick house for $3.2 million?and it's a looker.

2) Hudson Square: One-time star of the Real Housewives of New York, Kelly Bensimon, was spotted checking out a renovated townhouse on Greenwich Street. It's 30-feet wide, six-stories, and it has a roof terrace with an outdoor shower.

3) Midtown West: Construction has begun on the Hudson Yards mega development, and this week, new renderings revealed what the project's Culture Shed will look like. Starchitect firms Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Rockwell Group are designing the arts space, and it should be complete by 2017.

4) Upper West Side: Once upon a time, the 20th floor of 535 West End Ave. was joined with the 21st floor to make one giant mansion in the sky, but it never sold. So the units were split and the 6,637-square-foot 20th floor has re-hit the market for $19.5 million.
