We were surprised to receive this in our inbox from a little birdie. It's a photo of a rendering of Zaha Hadid's new condo tower on Biscayne Boulevard, One Thousand Museum, and it's only the second image of the tower to be publicly released. (It's the middle building. The first image is here) Little birdie also says the reason for the outer shell, "exoskeleton"-like mega columns is to remove interior columns from within the apartments. It's kinda like how a bug has its shell on the outside instead of bones on the inside. Yes, people, Zaha Hadid designed a giant bug on Biscayne Boulevard. Structurally speaking. If you've got any more peeks at it, do drop us a line please.
