Trader Joe's has finally, finally, secured a construction permit to build its first South Florida store, across from the Dadeland South Metrorail Station, in Pinecrest, according to the chaps over at exMiami. What took so long? Well, apparently the company had a lot to learn about designing a store to withstand hurricanes, and South Florida's tight building codes. But it's all good now.
