"Am I the only person who notices that the Rem Koolhaas plan adds basically no additional convention center space, seeing as the current one and Rem's plans both about have 500,000 sq ft of hall space? Wasn't the intention of this massive project to add additional square footage for larger/more conventions? I'm not sure about how much additional space the Bjarke Ingels plan has but at the very least the renderings had a detached ballroom that I would imagine would add to the overall amount of rentable space.
