Paramount Park & Freedom Square Could Be Back On

New, 8 comments

According to someone connected with the Chateau Group, the applications for condo towers recently submitted to the City of Miami for sites at 600 and 700 Biscayne Boulevard were to "preserve prior approvals" and not for new designs, meaning the Chateau Group is still planning, or at least keeping the option open, to build the same towers on these two sites that developers had planned during the last boom. So, yes, that tower called Freedom Square that was planned a few years ago to overshadow the Freedom Tower could be back on, and it could have a new sibling, Paramount Park, right next door. Or maybe they'll at least change the names.

We're looking for renderings of the old Freedom Square and Paramount Park projects. If you've got 'em, we'd love copies. Our email is miami@curbed.com Thanks!
