Related Fills Up South Of Fifth's Empty Hole With More Condos

New, 2 comments

Way down in the southernmost bowels of South of Fifth, about three blocks worth of undeveloped land - a combination of surface parking and dirt lots - sit surrounded by condo towers. A dirty hole in the middle of South Pointe that the Related Group is stuffing full of flashy low-rise condos. First they announced the extremely expensive, and extremely well-selling One Ocean, and now just behind it will be Marea, renderings of which have dropped on exMiami.

Could this be a mini One Ocean, or perhaps a mini Apogee, that other Related tower across the street? It's smaller, at only 30 units, and it takes a "little of this, little of that" kind of approach to blending in with its condo-rific neighbors. It kinda mirrors Apogee's curved box aesthetic, which makes sense considering they're both by the same architect: Sieger Suarez. Then again, the landscape and interior designers (Enzo Enea and Yabu Pushelberg) were both borrowed from One Ocean.
