Newgard Development Group and its chairman Harvey Hernandez, currently developing both BrickellHouse and Centro, is buying the site of riverfront building-to-be Cima, and bringing it back to life, according to exMiami. Word is Newgard has just submitted plans for a 605 foot condo tower on the site, the same height as Cima would have been, which means it's either the same building seeking new approvals or a new one at the exact same height. Anywho, watch the site on the north side of the Miami River to be sprouting a new building - and baywalk! - in the next few years or so.
