By enacting a new law that makes it easier for private and nonprofit conservancies to take over Miami's often underfunded parks, the City Commission basically wants to do to Museum Park what New York did to Central Park: get somebody else to pay for it. And considering the huge success the Central Park Conservancy is, it's probably not a bad idea. [Miami Herald]
