A condo project still in the midst of an identity crises, the Bond at Brickell is experimenting with who 'The Bond' is. Some buildings have it easy. Famous architect? Brand it after him/her. Abstract one word names like 'Icon', or 'Apogee'? Those are contemporary, slightly minimal, but by all means still 'livable' and inoffensive. But what is 'The Bond'? Is it British? Possibly so, now that developers The Rilea Group have announced it will have eight oversized, 6-foot tall signed portraits by famous british photog Terry O'Neil of iconic Brits, including Elton John, Twiggy, and that man that the Bond most definitely is not named after (lest someone litigate?) Bond, James Bond. But until the Bond actually gets built, they're at the sales center. Check 'em out there. [The Bond at Brickell; previous Curbed coverage]
