Well folks, there's been lots o' progress at the new bayfront Herzog & de Meuron-designed Perez Art Museum Miami, which will be completely finished and open by November or December this year, in time for its Art Basel debut. So, what's new? Well, the air-conditioning is running, making a tour earlier this week nice and cool and comfortable. Many of the floors and roofs are in (which, ok, are concrete, but still), doors are being hung, the louvered canopy system is being installed, the terraces are being built out, and many of the rooms now reasonably resemble their finished identities. Do check out the photo tour, above, and get up to speed with Curbed, chronicling the museum's construction, over here.
