Zaha Hadid Lands In NYC; Norah Jones Sells for $6.7M

Happy Happy Summer Friday from Curbed NY...

1) West Chelsea: The day has finally come?starchitect Zaha Hadid's first New York City building has been unveiled. In true Zaha style, it's a swooping, futuristic structure that will rise beside the High Line with 37 condos. More renderings, right this way.

2) Noho: Even though songbird Norah Jones moved to Brooklyn several years ago, she held onto a Manhattan condo in Cooper Square. But no longer. New public records show she sold the 3,227-square-foot combo for $6.7 million.

3) Upper East Side: A townhouse on East 62nd Street hit the market for $10 million. Some parts, like the new living room with French doors leading to a luscious private patio, are amazing, but other parts, like the leopard print carpet and leaf-pattern wallpaper, are, uh, not so amazing.

4) Central Village: Picasso's grandson is selling his four-bedroom penthouse for just under $8 million. The place is quite nice, with a 1,200-square-foot landscaped rooftop with a "sky pavilion."
