Urban Farm Wire

A downtown Fort Lauderdale office building, the 110 Tower, is getting a brand new urban farm on top of its parking garage seven stories up. Farming so high comes with its own set of issues, say the proprietors, like pollination (bees don't fly that high) and aesthetics. (it's gotta be prettier than a rural farm), but that's par for the course when you're attempting to create an environmentally sustainable, hyper local urban farm. [Broward/Palm Beach New Times]
